When is the 2017 Triangle Parade of Homes?
This year, the tour will run three weekends, September 30 and October 1, October 6 – 8, and October 13 – 15. The event begins every weekend at 12pm and wraps up at 5pm.
What is the Annual Triangle Parade of Homes?
Simply put, it’s a showcase of the best new homes on the market in the Triangle. These homes feature the latest designs, 
amenities, and construction from various home builders throughout the area. They’re a collection of the finest features and newest selections that the Triangle has to offer. And for guests and visitors, it’s a FREE self-guided tour. Simply show up at the house of your choice and look around.
Who Can Go to the Parade?
Anyone! The event is open to the public so even if you’re not thinking of buying a home, you’re welcome to attend! It’s a great way for newcomers to get to know the area, potential buyers to learn what new communities are out there, and serious buyers to get a good look at some of the best homes in the Triangle. And because these homes are beautifully staged and often feature the latest designs and home trends, decorators and designers often go to pick up on the latest in home styles.
Where is the Parade of Homes?
The 250 homes featured in the Parade are scattered all throughout the Triangle, including Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Wake Forest, Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, Knightdale, Clayton, and even as far as Pittsboro. You’re welcome to visit any that you choose.
What Sort of Homes Will Be Featured?
You may think the Parade would only offer a selection of high-priced luxury homes, but in fact, it features homes in every price range. You’ll find affordably-price homes sitting around $200,000, plenty of more spacious middle-range homes, and 
plenty of luxury homes, like a $3.2 million dollar custom estate home in North Raleigh.

Other Details of the Parade
The Parade of Homes is a free self-guided tour open to the public. But it’s also a competition that including a final judging of all the homes. On September 30, judges visit all the homes to determine their favorites and announce the cream of the crop in every price bracket—from affordable to multi-million-dollar.
