Raleigh-Area St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations
The Raleigh St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival is one of the biggest events all year… but it’s hardly the only thing happening in the Triangle! Here are more St. Patrick’s Day celebrations around the Triangle.
Raleigh St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival
When: Saturday, March 14, 10am
Where: Downtown Raleigh
This is the parade’s 38th year running, and in that time, it’s become one of the Triangle’s biggest holiday celebrations. The parade starts at 10am at Lane Street and Salisbury Street and runs an hour and a half. After the parade, the all-ages Wearin’ ‘O Green Festival starts on City Plaza with live music, food, vendors, rides, and more.

Good Luck/Bad Luck Weekend Party at Boxcar Bar
When: Friday, March 13 + Saturday, March 14, 6pm
Where: Boxcar Bar, Raleigh
Celebrate St. Patty’s the Irish way at Boxcar! Enjoy performances by step dancers and a bagpipe and drum brigade. And don’t forget great drink specials and Irish-themed pies!

Where: Bombshell Beer Company, Holly Springs
This all-ages friendly party is the perfect way to celebrate! It’s got food, live music, beer, and even a bounce house for the kids!

Shamrocks & Shenanigans at Pullen Park
When: Sunday, March 15, 2pm – 6pm
Where: Pullen Park, Raleigh
This free festival is fun in the park for all ages. There will be a Celtic band, Irish dancing, kilt competitions, a bagpipe parade, a kids’ scavenger hunt… and more.
